How refreshing to read a book where everything isn't too sickly sweet at the end (but still has a good ending!). I have read so many books aimed at my age group where the main characters prattle on about their designer clothes and posh lifestyles and don't endear themselves to you at all but Kelly Harte has managed to find a main character who is loveable and (more importantly) believable. Setting the book in Leeds also makes a refreshing change, every book these days seems to be set in London or 'the country'. This is the first time I can honestly say I have stayed up until the small hours gripped by a book (and I still managed to have a huge smile on my face when I finished it). This book is a must for anyone who wants to have their spirits lifted and I have recommended it to all my friends.

I was at the airport and this book looked interesting and i bought it. I was very pleased! It was so funny and entertaining. I shared this book with a couple friends and we all thought it was really cool. I was really surprised with what happened though I would start to think one thing and then be completely thrown off. It was a great book. Buy it now and read it, you won't be able to put it down.
Loved it start to finish

I just knew I was going to love this book from the moment I read the first line and I was not disappointed. Enough has been said about the plot -which is excellent, but what I especially liked was that the charcaters were so down to earth. Real people. And okay, so Dan had a fun job as a music writer, but everyone did more or less ordinary things for a living, just like the rest of us. Just for a change, I really felt I could really identify...A really good fun and quick read - I finished it in a day, but then it was my day off. Can't wait to read Kelly Harte's next one.
My newest "Guilty" pleasure!

I really wish someone could explain to me how women get themselves into messes like Jo does in "Guilty Feet" by Kelly Harte? Because, we do. We ALL do. Jo decides to leave her live-in boyfriend, SURE that he'll chase after her and declare his undying love and passion. Bet you can't guess what happens next? ---------- he doesn't follow ------- Shocker huh? Well, it only gets better. Word is, he has another girl on the hook. I just don't understand why (supposedly) intelligent women allow themselves to be put into situations like this. It's frustrating --- but makes for amazing book reading :) "Guilty Feet" (a new Red Dress Inc book) is a hilarious and very true to life tale of regret and love. The thought of being "someone else" has appealed to everyone at one time or another -- the question is, can Jo repair the damage she has done. Or is it too late? I loved this book and think that Ms. Harte has a knack and talent for the "chick lit" genre. I look forward to more.Cheers!

Okay, I'm from England, so maybe I'm biased, but I see that this book has been nominated for an American award, and it really deserves it. It's one of the best of it's genre I've read in a long time. The plot is brillant: When everything seems to be falling apart, career, love-life, Jo gets in touch with her ex by means of a bogus email identity and discovers all sorts of things she never knew before - about Dan (the ex) AND herself.Meanwhile Libby, a potential 'bunny boiler', tries moving in on Dan while at the same time pretending to be Jo's friend. There's temptation for Jo as well in the form a gorgeous Italian. We see the story through three pairs of eyes - Jo's, Dan's and crazy Libby's, which keeps everything cracking along at a very fast pace. There is not a single dull moment in Guilty Feet and I can't recommend it more highly.
