Guide to the Study of Freshwater Biology

A genuine classic used heavily by my students in ecology in several decades of teaching. To be sure, the references, although significant in their day, are now of historical interest and more interested students and others eager to learn more about aquatic life would need to do some library search for more current work on the aquatic organims featured in this guide.
