A great tool to have when sending cards, making phone calls or visiting. It even gives you suggestions on what NOT to say. This book is having something to say besides just "I'm sorry". A worth it book to have.

How often we are confronted with unexpected situations, and want to know the right things to say or do (or what NOT to say or do!) to be a comforting friend. This book will help you know how to respond when a woman is facing some of the darkest times in her life. What a wonderful tool to help guide you and her through these situations.

The Emergency Response Handbook for Women's Ministry is packed with ways to help women who are struggling with issues such as cancer, depression, divorce, infertility, rape, and many more. With real-life narrative, care and counseling tips, group tips, what to say and what not to say, and helpful Bible verses, recommended books and online resources, this small book is full of aids to help the women in your life. Great for small group leaders, women who mentor others, social services, and for anyone in a position to help women in crisis or ongoing struggles. I plan to get one for each woman on my leadership team. This is the best book I have seen for meeting the needs of women, which is always difficult but can be made a bit easier with this resource.
