This might be the best medical book any family with boys could own. As a man, I've always ignored my medical problems, often waiting until a tiny medical condition reached a crisis point before addressing the problem. After my wife brought this book home, I picked it up and started reading. It is story driven and anecdotal, which made reading about potentially frightening medical conditions a lot easier. From Boys to Men is well written and very informative. Any criticism that the book denegrates women by "reducing" them to a caretaker role is preposterous. In fact, by providing a useful and accessible guide to the basics of men's health, Dr. Senay has made a valuable contribution to women, men and their families. I highly recommend the book.

Now I feel more confident in my parenting decisions...
