I bought this recently because mine is getting worn out after many years! The one I got is like new & I was shocked at how thin it is next to my old one which is very very used & full of paper clips! I love this book full of well known classical music with some "classics" that are just great & fully chorded thrown in. Really good "Humoresque" & several Rachmaninoff. Excellent beefy good renditions! Not simplified junk! One of my favs! Previous: My Aunt bought me these song books every year for bday & Xmas! This one I've had for about 35 yrs & its held up great! If u want to tackle Gershwins Rhapsody In Blue, it has great rendition! Also theme from the Apartment, Moonlight Sonata, Frandole, Can Can, AveMaria, plus Rachmaninoff, Strauss, DeBussey, Handel, Bach, Mozart, etc best known, Star&Stripes, WmTell Overture, Waltzes, Clair de Lune, Humoresque, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire, Ode to Joy, FurElise, Sarabande, CountryGardens, Pathetique, None But the Lonely Heart, Rondeau, Toreador song, MapleLeafRag, Solace by ScottJoplin, Nocturne in E, and many more! Plus each piece has really interesting short bio of the author, the songs origin, the date etc. This is not an easy piano song remake with no soul book! It is slightly transposed but definitely advanced piano solo! Good & beefy stuff! I love it.

This songbook is wonderful. It has many popular classics in easy to play format. It lays flat for easy playing. Great buy!!

We used to have this piano book from Reader's Digest along with others from Reader's Digest (Christmas & Family Song Book) and loved them. They are the songs we loved as children and still enjoy playing at the piano and singing along.
