I'm actually giving this a good rating because of his comment on Brans-Dicke gravitational theory: that it actually contains two mechanisms of gravity instead of one: one scalar and one curvature. But the diagram of the Leidenfrost Layer from Alfven's article is also very good as no such layer with synchrotron radiation is observed. The Weizsäcker vortices is on the cover of my Pelican edition and the Kuiper version is in the text: as the Kuiper belt is the reason Pluto is no longer a planet, this is important. Although dated the book is still a good starting place 40 years later.
