Dickens the master storyteller

Reading Dickens somehow unburdens your soul. Every character that he presents is a work of genius crafted with meticulous detail and intricately woven into a complex plot. This volume contains two of the best books of literature ie 'Great Expectations' and 'A tale of two Cities'.'Hard Times' and 'A Christmas Carol' are also enjoyable reads. For the price tis a delight to have.

I thought it was a great book suitable for all ages.

Great Expectations was a great book. It was very interesting and it was hard to put he book down once you have started it. I recommend that you read the book if you enjoy good stories about the changes of life.

One of the best

Charles Dicken's TALE OF TWO CITIES is one of the best novels he has writen. His story gives a facinating plot, and keeps a reader craving for more. The inocent "golden doll" Lucie, the secret hero, Sidney Carton, the evil St. Evermonde twins, the poor Darney, born to shame, the wicked Madame De Farge, the caring Miss Pross, the gentlman in "brown", Mr. Lorry, and Dr. Manette himself, are only a few characters Charles Dickens brings alive. In addition, the way he brings out images, like water, throughout the complexed plot is very crafty. It brings out a story of love, deception, jealousy, revenge, and loyalty to the best extent. Words can not describe the wonder for the novel.
