Gordon's Got a Snookie

We received this book in Oct. '03 from a friend that had just returned from England. Any children's book that makes an adult laugh out loud is sure to please the kids, and so not surprisingly, my 2.5 year old AND my 8 year old are wild about Gordon and his snookie. After reading it every night on demand for almost 3 months straight, Gordon still makes me chuckle because now my younger daughter constantly interrupts me to recite most of it by heart. (And a toddler crooning "the air was hot and steamy" is one for the memory banks.) I can't forget to mention the artwork, which gives the animals (*especially* Gordon) human qualities that, along with the accompanying dialog, are sure to amuse you. This book is a true pleasure to read aloud, you won't get tired of it!
