Goodnight Warrior: God's Mighty Warrior Bedtime Bible Stories, Devotions, and Prayers

I bought this for my 3 year old son's birthday and he loves it! He loves the devotions inside especially. He requests this book to be read and ALWAYS asks for me to read more than 1 story and devo.

I think the Will character is just adorable. This book is a collection of Bible stories, prayers, and little-but-nice devotions. I wish there were a few more (or more in-depth) devotions. It's very sweet. My second grade boy prefers his own NIV study Bible; this is a little too young for him. Little brother LOVES it, and they both still enjoy having it read to them at bedtime. Neat bonus -- the cover GLOWS IN THE DARK. How cool is that? I think we prefer the "Big Picture Story Bible" by David Helm.

I bought this book and the companion Sweet Dreams Princess: God's Little Princess Bedtime Bible Stories, Devotions, & Prayers. We read them every night before bed. My son @ 4 is excited each night to see what story we're going to read and the prayer/praise at the end of each "devotion" are a great way to transition to bed. He likes to tell everyone that he and Daddy are God's Warriors and that his sisters and Mom are God's Princesses.
