Don't Battle an Eating Disorder Forever-Recover from It Completely
Jenni Schaefer and Ed (eating disorder) are no longer on speaking terms, not even in her most difficult moments. In her bestseller, Life Without Ed, Jenni learned to treat her eating disorder as a relationship, not a condition-enabling her to break up with Ed once and for all.
In Goodbye Ed, Hello Me Jenni shows you that being fully recovered is not just about breaking free from destructive behaviors with food and having a healthy relationship with your body; it also means finding joy and peace in your life.
"Jenni Schaefer has dedicated her life to helping people overcome their eating disorders and live life to the fullest. She is an inspiration to all " --Dr. Phil
"Every young woman and man interested in overcoming disordered eating should read this treasure of a book."
-Leigh Cohn, M.A.T., CEDS, Editor-in-Chief, Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention
"The beauty of Jenni's written journey through her tormented relationship with Ed is that it is honest, passionate, hopeful-but, most important, it ultimately assures the reader that life really can move on."
-Lynn Grefe, CEO, National Eating Disorders Association
Combining Jenni's signature personal advice and unfailing encouragement along with valuable exercises you can do as you read, Goodbye Ed, Hello Me will give you the prescriptive tools to take the final steps in divorcing your Ed completely.
Foreword by Carolyn Costin, LMFT, M.A., M.Ed.

I love "Goodbye Ed, Hello Me" by Jenni Schaefer. This is one of the best recovery books I ever read. It covers so many important lessons that those struggling with eating disorders need to hear, no matter at what stage they are in their recovery. I really liked that the book also includes exercises to get you, the reader, involved and moving forward in your own healing journey. But what I like most about the book is that...

I love this book. It is easy to read as it is broken up into small chapters. Jenni is upbeat and very convincing. I like how she doesn't leave room for many excuses in recovery. The book is easy to relate to and I would recommend this book to anybody who is in recovery from an eating disorder.

This book is absolutely amazing. Having struggled with an eating disorder, it really showed me that there is life after an eating disorder. I love how Jenni put this book together and included many of her own experiences. She showed me how life can go on. I don't have to be Stacey with an eating disorder or Stacey in recovery. I can be "Stacey." The exercises were just right and made me think and helped put things into...

I was so thrilled yesterday to open up my mailbox to find an autographed copy of Jenni Schaefer's new book, Goodbye Ed, Hello Me! Jenni is also the wonderful author of the book Life Without Ed, a humorous, insightful, and down-to-earth personal story of one woman's 'break-up' and recovery from Ed: her eating disorder. Her lastest work is its companion. I read Life Without Ed during my recovery, and have since recommended it...
