Grant, had again fought its way to the outskirts of Richmond. grant had suffered terrible losses trying to flank General Robert E. Lee's Army of northern Virginia in the wilderness, at spot Sylvania and at Cold Harbor; now he embarked on a bold maneuver, shifting his line of operations south of the James River and attacking Petersburg, the vital railroad center 23 miles below Richmond.       Civil War Set - Lost Book Replacement

      I left a copy on an airline. I left it in the seatback in front of me. Delta never found it. This book purchase was my replacement of that lost book. I totally love the series and only have 8 more to read of the 28 volume set.
