So captivating

I loved every second of reading this book! It got interesting immediately and I had to force myself to stop reading so I didn’t get through it too quickly. Can’t recommend this enough!

Predictable

I was looking forward to reading this book, but I found it to be boring and predictable.

Had high hopes but...

It was crazy how much this book was overhyped. Maybe that's why I was so disappointed but I don't think so. I honestly think the story just sucked though I feel it had potential. Unfortunately the characters weren't overly likeable, one a cheat, the other a complete psycho. Even the secondary characters weren't capable of redeeming the book. I wish I had the time I spent on this book back.

Good read

On a scale of 1-10 I’d give it an 8.5. Part one was a little boring and drawn out but it was necessary to build up the amp of part 2. If you plan on reading this book you should try to be as patient as possible. Otherwise, it’s really good and I enjoyed it.

Slow start, stick it out!

This book was a slow start for me, and somewhat far fetched even as fiction crime goes. I expected a little more due to it's reputation, maybe too much to be fair! Still an entertaining read.

This is THE book by which I judge all other psychological thrillers.

Hands down, my favorite book of all time and my #1 go-to recommendation when any asks! I tell everyone that this book will change their life. This story was well written and clever. It draws you in immediately and keeps you turning the page. It keeps you guessing and has some good twists as well. The relationships of the characters in this book are modern and believable as well. Currently purchasing this book as a gift for a friend who recently recommended a far less superior book. This one is going to blow her mind! I can't wait to hear what she thinks of it...

gone girl

thank you for my copy of gone girl cant wait to read this book

Love it!

Love it!!

Good Read!

This book is a nice beach read, it's not anything particularly special in terms of writing, but it definitely keeps you hooked. Flynn had me reading the next after the next chapter because she had so many cliff hangers. I think the second half was more entertaining than the first, but it had a nice set up. I wish the ending was more resolved :(

Absolutely love.

I read this in one day. I could NOT put it down. Such a good read.. lot of different point of views and flashbacks to add some spice.

no surprise this book is incredible

This book took me on a WILD ride! I knew very little going in thanks to never having watched the movie or having anything spoiled for me, and for that I’m so grateful. This book was more than I bargained for and was so brilliantly crafted I couldn’t get it out of my head! I wanted to do nothing but get to the bottom of this mystery.

Wild

It captivated me and I couldn't put it down. I loved it. I found myself hanging on every single word. Just so good. It was like a quick rise to climax and it just stayed there.

Quickly became my favorite book

Fantastic characters with so many twists and turns. Highly recommend to anyone. Amy is the most interesting character I've ever read.

Crazy book!!

This is the craziest book I’ve ever read! The first half was good but I didn’t connect with it as I am not married and the first half is about their marriage. Then there’s a HUGE and unexpected twist and the story takes off. Such an unpredictable book

First half of the book ruined it for me.. **SPOILERS**

OK.. I really would like to give this book 2.5 stars but that's not an option. Here is the deal. This book does not get any type of interesting until about 214 pages in. Which is why it took me so long to read. I almost stopped and said forget it. This is also far from a thriller in my opinion. I guess you could call it a domestic mystery maybe? Amy is a psycho which is what she was supposed to be portrayed as. The fact that she got away with everything she has done to her husband, her ex's, friends and police is ridiculous. She should have went to jail, Nick keeps the baby and rides off into the sunset. The ending made me so mad!! Who ends a book like that ? The day before the baby is born?? That's it.. I don't want to give too much away. I do not recommend this book unless you have some quarantine time to kill. Very upset. This book is way over hyped.... on to the next one.

The book was great, but condition wasn’t near like new.

I love this book! I’ve already read it but wanted a copy of my own for my collection. I went to read it again and saw a lot of orange finger stains on the pages. So gross :/

Big Disappointment

I don't know what all the hype is about this book. The characters were unlikable and it could have been written in half the words. I found myself losing interest and finally just skipped to the end of the book, reading the last two chapters, and setting it back on the shelf.

Amazing - Better than the movie!

I always prefer to read the books than watch the movies. It gives so many more details and information about the characters and better twists and turns. I would recommend still reading this even if you seen the movie. It explains so much more about the main characters.

I wish I’d read it before I saw the movie

I saw the movie first which may have been a mistake. I knew the big plot twists before reading so that kind of ruined it. However, I really liked the movie so I expected to still get really into the book, but for the most part I was just bored. It did at least answer some questions I thought the movie failed to address, at least, and you get a little more into Amy’s head (Book Amy is more frightening than Movie Amy).

Love it

this book is amazing, keeps you on your toes for sure

So amazing

If you're an avid reader and get kind of sick of predictable plots... look no further! I get kinda bored sometimes with typical plot lines. I could NOT predict what happens in this book - it caught be off guard TWICE. If you've seen the movie, i'm not sure how you'll like it. But if you haven't - definitely a book to read!

good read

I couldn't put this book down, even though I like the end, it could have been more satisfying
