I thought hogs was an excellant book I liked it and it captured my attetion almost immediately It was the first time I ever read a war book I definitely going to read the other books i hope they are just as goodthe book shows how much the a-10 can withstand and what it can do It is action packed and has a good amount of humor mixed in I recommend the book the book for other people who like war books even to people who don't like planes John Amico

I have only had this book for a few days and it is great,and i'm only on chapter 10 it is a must get for people like my self who love the A-10, or for people you like action packed books. One of the best things I liked about the book was how good James Ferrone went in depth of telling whats going on, it makes me fill like i'm right there in the book seeing everything thats happening. GOOD JOB FERRONE!

In a world gone techno-nuts, it's terrific to finally find an author who knows the value of a great story. Ferro knows how to keep a reader's interest, and he does it by providing tense situations which keep us asking ourselves, "What can possibly happen next?" Add some fine, eccentric humor and a few of the beefiest characters in fiction, and you've got a terrific read!

I surprised myself by staying up all night (!!!) to finish this. It moves fast and is packed with action. Good portraits of A-10s and the Gulf War, and a lot of humor as well as shoot-em-up adventure.
