God's Little Devotional Book for Women

I first saw this book while staying at a friend's house. The book was placed on the guestroom bedside table. Reading a couple of the little essay-style devotionals was a lovely way to end a day, so I bought a copy of the book to put in my own guestroom to offer the same peaceful ending to my guests' days.

My life and days are so busy, and sometimes I need a moment to reflect and have some spiritual time for myself. God's little devotional book gives me that time to reflect and look inward.The artwork is lovely, and has a thoughtful caption to ponder. On the opposite page, an anecdote that may be about a historical celebrity, biblical times, or a fable. At the end of each story, a bible verse to draw you to God. I read a page or two at the end of my day, to bring my life into perspective. This book reminds me that at this hectic pace, not to forget that love, faith and spiritual understanding is what makes me a richer woman. This book would be a wonderful gift for a special woman in your life.

When I start reading it, I feel like Holy Spirit teaching me to grow and improve myself. It makes me hopeful to continue to live and move on. Each lady's story is so wonderful. The way they write is easy to understand for me who is a foreigner. (English is my second language anyway.) This is a good idea to give many versions from the bible because not everyone likes the same version of the bible. It is also good to put many stories from different authors, for we can learn more experiences from them, and it will not be boring too.

This book has brought me so much closer to God than I thought possible. It has done so much for me, and I think all women should have a copy of this in their homes. I highly recomend this book to any women who is seeking the greatness of a personal relationship with God.
