A curious little elephant is full of questions for his mother about God and his love for us. Along with the little elephant, children will learn that God loves each of them as well. Little listeners will delight in playing with little elephant's soft and springy trunk that runs throughout the book. A special pop-up that appears on the final pages will thrill children and bring God's message home to their hearts. A charming companion to the popular caterpillar/ butterfly story in God's Wonderful Plan.
'Used' book was just as described--in perfect condition and arriving well in time for Christmas. Grandson loves it! Thank you! Thank you!

Reviewed by Cayden (age 4) and Max (age 2) Aures and Mom for Reader Views (12/08) "God Loves Us, Little One" is a book about an elephant and her young one. The young elephant is very curious about God and asks numerous questions of her mother such as "Does God live in the sky?" and "Does God rest at night the way we do?" Max: "Cool! Look at elephant's nose!" (referring to the cloth-covered spring simulating the elephant's trunk that goes through the entire book) Cayden: "I liked the elephant's trunk in the book. That was fun! I liked when the baby elephant asked about God. He asked a lot of questions! I liked the part at the end when the elephants moved too!" Parent's comments: "God Loves Us, Little One" by Allia Zobel Nolan is a great book that answers many questions that little ones may have about God. The interactive nature of the book is wonderful and my children had a lot of fun with it. Although the ages on the back of the book are listed as being from ages 3-6, I think that even younger children would love it as well!
