Although he's been told to go to bed, Edwin Dupree is sure there are more important, exciting things going on downstairs. When he creeps down to see, he finds his house has been transformed and his parents are having fun without him. Full color.
I have had this book for about a year and a half and my son has loved it! He was 18 months when we started reading this and really enjoyed how things rhymed. I would recommend this book to anyone...and my now 3 year old would, too! It is his favorite!
A favorite book of my nephew and my son!

This book was such a hit with my son, I had it memorized in no time! Then my sister read it to my nephew and they both fell in love with Edwin(the main character). She has since bought her own copy. Ginger Foglesong Guy does a brilliant job unleashing the imagination of our children with this book! Her use of rhyme makes it fun and easy to read as well. Love it!

This is a terrifc book for your pre-schooler. Short enough to read before bed, well illustrated, and a big hit.
My niece loved it....

My niece is 5 1/2 and I often buy her books....this one was a real hit. She liked the illustrations and the concept of a life after she goes to bed. And then just like when she was far younger when I finished reading it to her once, she had to hear it again.....
