The author did a great job allowing me, as the reader, to get an up close view of how this family dealt with the unthinkable for most of us -- a child battling a ruthless type of cancer. The lesson learned goes beyond this family and beyond this wonderful little girl, Gloria. Anyone would benefit from reading this book. It's impossible to walk away from it uninspired.
