Mystery Problems Bring to Neighbors Closer

"The Girl Next Door" is the first in I believe four book set including "Silver Lining", "Mountain Laurel", and "Her Perfect Match". It is about a young woman who is in love with her brother's best friend and has been for years. She is more or less ready to give up on him. He comes home for a party with a friend named Elizabeth. He finally notices her and asks her help in setting up her brother Cole with Elizabeth. He wants to pursue a romantic relationship with her, but before he really can he is in a riding accident that paralizes him. After that he refuses to even see her. She comes anyway. She helps him run his land and take care of his horses. She fires his physical therapist who is only bringing him alcohol to drink and not being any help. She hires a new one from her church, much to his annoyance. In short she won't go away. Slowly he gets better. One day some bales of hay come tumbling down on her. He roles over fast enough to protect them both with the wheel chair. While she is in the hospital he decides he's been a fool. Did I mention that someone has been causing accidents on her father's ranch?

A very good book!

I highly recommend it. It is a wonderful story, about not giving up on the one you love.

A good Christian fiction novel.

I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it. It is about a woman who really sticks with the man she loves. She helps him have hope when he falls off a horse and becomes paralyzed and anger over what has happened to him. A very inspiring book and well worth reading.
