Excellent Conversation Starter

I found this book very useful for helping my daughter and I discuss what it means to be gifted. It brought up questions I wouldn't think to ask, and offered answers she could choose from when she had trouble identifying her feelings. If you want to learn how your child feels about being gifted, this is a terrific way to start the conversation.

This book is excellent and great for children to read.

This book is a great resource for chidren. This book shows chidren that you are gifted. If chidren read this book maybe it will inspire them to do good things in life. Also this book is a good thing for children because they get to listen to children their own age. This book is wonderful.

A great book for gifted children and their families.

We bought this book a number of years ago and to this day still read it. It not only helped my son to understand himself but also gave us more of an insight into his world. It also showed him that he was not the 'only one' or 'an alien from another planet'. This book more than any other is a must for all families of gifted children because it is presented from the children's point of view - an area that is rarely represented.

This book has been a big help to me in understanding myself.

I got this book when I was in Grade Four, and I was really feeling out at the time. I read this book and it really helped to find out that there were others in the same predicament that I was. Now, I'm enjoying school again. Also, whenever I need to, I reread the book just so I can see how others feel about various aspects of being gifted.
