Brilliant!

While slow in the prologue this book does pick up pace and tells the history behind some of America's greatest ghosts. This book confronts the hard to look at parts of american history and how we as a culture have handled it. If you are searching for enthusiastic stories of scary places this may not be the book for you, but if you are interested in the anthropology that runs hand in hand with ghost stories in the US I highly recommend this book.
