Sixteen-year-old football star Bart Hawkins seeks a way to rid his house of a nasty poltergeist without losing the nine friendly ghosts also haunting it, in return for which they agree to help him win the championship game.
I, like the reviewer before me, read this book when I was in grammar school. I found it to be delightful and charming. While it is not intended to fans of the horror genre, it is no less compelling to read and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a whimsical ghost story that is both humorous and suspenseful. A light and enjoyable read for the younger audience; I hope to see it back in print.
