Getting Lucky

Lily & Zach meeting each other gets off on the wrong foot. He thinks she's out to fleece his rich sister and she thinks he's an ass. An active Marine who's used to giving orders, Zach is at a loss as he discovers more about Lily than what he initially assumed. Lily starts falling for him on a road trip to stop his sister's wedding. Romance, intrigue, and mystery ensue. Solid book with good plot that has characters from the other books in the series that I haven't read yet.

Be My Baby was my fist book by Susan Anderson and I have been a devout fan ever since. By the time Getting Lucky came out I had read everything by SA prior and let me just say she's a master at her craft. She and Rachel Gibson put others to shame with their light-hearted romances.Getting Lucky is the story of a chef and an Ex-Marine who have a crazy time falling in love. He's an ass who thinks the worst of her and she's a loudmouth who gives back as good as she can. For some reason after reading the back of the book I didn't think I'd actually like it. So, I kept putting if off by reading everything else before it. When I finally sat down to read it I was enthralled. I honestly think I read the whole thing in one day. I give a 100% satisfaction guaranteed stamp of approval on this novel. I'm positive you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

I really loved "Getting Lucky"....some characters were right out of "Head Over Heels"...so i suggest you read that one first. Lily was the perfect epitome of a "girly-girl" and Zach was the tough-guy Marine. Superb story...read it in a day and a half!!!!!

Susan Andersen does a nice job of entertaining her readers with, 'Getting Lucky.' A fun story that will enter the readers for a few fun hours. Great escape book!

OK here it is this book ws amazing to read. It had humor and the mystery that makes a great romance. The Characters in this book were very vivid in detals. It was like you were actuall there in there story.(In a way) I would say any =body that had a vivid life style on the go you should stop and read "Getting Lucky" and try other books from Susan Anderson .

I have read all of Ms. Andersen's books and alway wait impatiently for her next one. This one is even better than the others. I read the book in one day - it has everything, love, humor, mystery, and of course the great looking hero. This is a must read.
