Helping children learn to name clothes, this book identifies garments--from underclothes to hats--and shows youngsters the order in which they're put on. Full color. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a nice book for toddlers -- especially those in the 18+ month age group, who are newly-fascinated with efforts to put on their own shoes, socks, shirts, etc. Here, they get to see pictures of other children dressing themselves. On that note, the pictures are very much a part of the appeal. My granddaughter loves looking at pictures of babies & children involved in various pursuits. The book's size, the cardboard-like pages, and the tabbed page edges make it easy for her to handle and to turn the pages -- a very important feature for independent toddlers who like reading books on their own! This book is a nice addition to my granddaughter's collection of *baby faces* photo books. I give it 4 stars because most of the children in the photos have that frozen *posed-for-the-camera* look. I'd rather have seen the kids engrossed in being kids, oblivious to the camera.
