It’s fascinating how the characters and their relationship evolve throughout the book. Impressed with the author’s ability to showcase the complexity of dealing with residual trauma, old traumatic baggage, and illustrating healthy ways of resolving them separately and together within a committed relationship. A fantastic read!

An absolutely adorable story!! And what a great way to portray how traumatic an abusive relationship can be on a person's psyche! And to top it off, the author had a male being the one who got out of an abusive relationship. Its beyond rare seeing that. I loved how it all did work out but how both Red and Chloe went to therapy and worked out their issues. Im so glad Chloe realized that Red wasn't going to leave her like Henry did. And Red realized that chloe wasn't Pippa and wasnt going to abuse him like she did. The whole story was well thought out and the characters developed well, both on their own, and together!

I really enjoyed the book, such a cute typical romance novel. If you’re expecting something crazy and new maybe not the one for you. Classic good girl bad guy type of deal.
