Traces the history of gerbils, tells how to select, house, and handle them, and includes information on common ailments. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is great for anyone who is considering buying a gerbil or even for people who already have one. I most recommed it to people who are trying to convince their parents to let them have a gerbil. Even if you don't want to buy it it is still a good idea to check it out of your local library. It tells you every thing you ever wanted to know about gerbils. About food, housing , handling, anything you can think of. Have fun!
This is one of few books I would actually recommend.

This book is fairly accurate (especially in comparison with the other books I have read!) and is a good book to start with for a new gerbil owner. While the original version is out of stock there is a new edition released recently. It has a pink cover with an argente golden/cream (cinnamon) gerbil on the front, written by the same author, etc. It's exactly the same with a few new pictures, and also very good.
