Genki 1: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese 1 (Genki 1 Series) (Japanese Edition)

I ordered the third edition and the book was in great condition! There wasn’t even any notes written inside. I’ve probably worn out the book more in the past two months than the person who previously owned it. Note: the third edition doesn’t come with a CD because the book publishers moved their audio recordings to the mobile app OTO Navi. I hope that helps!

I ordered both the textbook and workbook. They were in very good shape, the textbook did not have any writing or missing pages and the workbook only missed about 3. Very quick shipping too. Genki textbooks are usually around $30 but I got mine for only $8! Thank you for this, as a struggling sudent I am grateful for someone being so generous.

If you have the Genki book, your hurting yourself by not using this workbook as a accompaniment. I am taking Japanese in college and this helps me out a TON. We are required to do this workbook, but it helps me study for the tests we are given.

This workbook is a wonderful supplement to Genki 1 the text. It provides for great practice. You need the student CD for this workbook. I recommend it very much. I am teaching myself Japanese and found this set to be excellent. My Japanese friend is very impressed with what I have taught myself.

I used this workbook in my first year Japanese class in college. It complements the textbook wonderfully. The lessons are taught in a way that makes it easy to remember what you learn. This series has a rather engaging story about a girl studying in Japan, which makes it both entertaining and fun to learn Japanese. I accredit my now perfect Japanese to the Genki series. It kept me interested and motivated, while teaching me a lot. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Japanese!

Be sure to buy the actual Genki textbook if you plan on buying this because without it, its pointless! Using this workbook is a great way to learn the language (if used with the textbook). It was helped me a lot. But for some pages, you will need the CD. I bought this from my college bookstore, it was a lot cheaper there.
