Arthur and Elaine Mange have written a superior text for the upper division Human Genetics course. I have taught Human Genetics at UC Berkeley since 1995, and Genetics: Human Aspects by Mange and Mange was the text I used the first few years of the course. When the text went out of print, I was bereft. I've used several other human genetics texts since, and they all fall short of my expectations, which were formed in response to the Mange and Mange. I hope Sinauer Associates offer an updated edition of this fine text soon.
