GEMS FROM TOZER is what the title suggests: a collection of gems from a man of God who was equal parts insightful, honest, and bold; all of it inspired. This collection is drawn from several of his better-known works and presents them to form a readable, relevant whole. The most startling feature of these writings is their relevance and insight into the state of the world and the church. This book is an excellent little collection of excerpts from some of A. W. Tozers finest books. I am both amazed and brokenhearted at the fact that these were written about 50 years ago, and the problems he deals with have only gotten worse. The importance of the topics and thier relevance to todays Christians make this a must read. The Holy Spirit moved to convict me through this book, and now I am wanting to study the whole of these works. Be prepared.
