This book is about a a little alligator that is named Gator. His friends want him to come outside to go swimming and play, but Gator can't because he must clean the house before he can do anything. His friends gladly offer to help Gator out with his house chores so they can go to play quicker. Gator accepts and lets them help with his cleaning. However, whenever Gator is trying to clean his friends efforts to help him out ends up screwing everything up. No matter what chore there is, his friends end up making the house more messy, so when his friends are ready to go play and think that have done a good job on cleaning, Gator is stuck cleaning up their mess which takes a longer time. This book is a silly, humorous book that many children should enjoy. -Derek Kelly Mrs. Nelsen English 9A

This is a wonderful children's book! My children love it so much that it is very worn from frequent reading and I will have to purchase another copy. This book teaches the importance of getting chores done before playing.
