Gabriella: A Mythical Tale of Love and Transformation

From the first paragraph I was completely spell-bound and could not put the pages aside until they were finished, only to find I did not want to say goodbye to Gabriella. Judy Malloy takes us through an incredible journey with messages and lessons offered for the taking at every turn. The pictures, painted by words, are so incredible that at times I felt I could smell the forest around me. I have not stopped talking about this book since reading it and have given it to a couple of women who I know will enjoy, but most importantly can use the message. Thank you Gabriella and (Judy Malloy) for such a rich experience!

What a great book. I consider my self an avid reader and it is seldom I come across something as unique as this book. The story of this girl's journey is fascinating on many levels - it's a coming of age story, but it is also a spiritual journey. The world she creates is mystical and magical. I loved the way the author weaved the wonder of the natural world into her story. I put the book down and the word "beautiful" came to mind. It is a beautiful story, in a beautiful place, told beautifully. I highly recommend it.

I read this book early on - before proper publishing and I read it with tears in my eyes - it is so wonderfully magical. The Story of Gabriella is the story of us all and the author is as beautiful as her book. I adored this book and it is so completely different to other "fantasy" out there - its like being out in the woods on a beautiful day and letting Mother Nature embrace you with all the warmth and love that she shows us.. I was fascinated from the first page on. I read this story and thought of my own conflicts in life and felt inspiration. Gabriella always moved forward, even when she was most beaten down, she still put one foot in front of the other. I was breathless with each challenge she took on! Judy Malloy takes her character on a journey of self discovery that will take you along with it. The beauty and joy of nature rages through the pages and you feel, you smell, you see, all that it has to offer,and you fear and you embrace the power that is before you! Can't say enough of what a fantastic page turner this book is, and as a woman, I related to so many of the struggles Gabriella came upon. I wept for her losses and laughed with joy when she succeeded! Highly recommended!!
