The most amazing thing ever!!

When I saw a little picture of one of the main characters(Takuto), I was like "Hey! Kitty ears and wings!!" I asked my friend about it and she said she had the manga! Not only will you be hooked on the characters designs(which are awesome!!), you will also have a great time learning more about each character! At first you may think that it's a cheesy story-line. A girl meets shinigami, she has sarcoma and cant sing so they turn her into a pop super star and she gets tons and tons of fans. NO. NONONO. Do NOT think like that. The depth of the story line and the connections between the characters are great. This is the BEST manga and the BEST anime I have ever seen/ read. A must get for any shojo lover!!!!

Awesome!!!

I first picked up this book while browsing in a bookstore. Not knowing what to expect, I thought that the summary on the back of the book sounded cute, so I bought it. I read the whole thing in one day, I just couldn't put it down! So the very next day I bought the next two volumes! [hah] I highly recommend this manga! Especially if you love shojo!

The best book and anime ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this book from Borders(I get everthing from borders in the graphic novels section)and I read part of the first chapter and loved it. When I finally got a chance to read the whole book I was so entertained by the characters I couldn't put it down. It is pretty sad that the main character in the story has a sarcoma in her throat and she might die if she doesn't go through with the operation. The only reason she doesn't want to have the operation is becuase she will have to get her vocal cords removed and won't be able to sing. Singing is Mitsuki's dream becuase she had a friend that left for the United States two years ago and since she lived in Japan they are very far apart. Eichi her friend who is now 16 and Mitsuki being 12 wishes to become 16 . Her wish comes true by these two harbingers that grant her wish and now she has to find a way to become a singer even without her crude grandmothers disaprovele. Even though this book is rated 13 and up I think it can be read by children between the ages of 11 and 13. Either way the art is quite buetiful and I don't think Mitsuki's eyes are to big.

it is .. really good! ^_^ i loveeddd it!

wow.. the reviews of this book are really good! ^_^ i loveed this series.. having read it a while ago, its a bit sad but has lots of fluffy shoujo moments! It deals with death and has a bit of blood near the end of the series [when ya get there, its worth getting to!].. i loved this series.. i was a bit skeptical about singing stuff .. but its just a part of the book ^_^ it added it too the story nicely ^_^ it makes mitsuki looks soo much more pretty! well.. i just loveeeee arina tanemura's writings ^_^ her artwork is absolutely beautiful, and i cant wait to see the anime, which is probably released but i havent got the time yettt.. other great arina tanemura titles would include kamikaze kaitou jeanne (phantom thief jeanne [i believe]) and shinshin doumei cross [my spelling is a bit off], those are the ones ive read and i cant wait for more to come out!! other shoujo recommendations:: kare kano, fruits basket, fushigi yugi, other shoujo beat titles, and lotssssss moreeeee ^_^

Anges...

I like this story because it doesn't try and be too sappy love story, and while it does harbor themes of death, it's not all about blood, violence, etc. I have to admit I almost overlooked this manga, but you shouldn't make the same mistake. Full Moon is usually silly and humorous, but then it can turn very sweet and loving. If you want a shoujo manga that's pretty much safe to read in front of the parents, get this manga. It's a great story that'll leave you completely satisfied, and happy that you read it ^_^
