Frommer's Vancouver & Victoria [With Foldout Map]

Got me through Victoria and Vancouver! I liked the walking tours. Very helpful.

The included map was great to use. The suggested activities also were good. Suggestions for using the extensive transportation system were also good. The guide book neglected to mention that the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen garden in Vancouver has a free section to the park and a section that charges admission. Also, between Chinatown and Gastown is the drug-ridden section, which the book mentioned, but it didn't tell us exactly which street, so we ended up on that street anyway. Overall, it was a good guide book.

This book has great info on planning trip to Vancouver and Whistler and now after reading about victoria, think I should add tht to the trip.
