Frommer's Europe on $50 a Day, 1997

Sure, I want Europe on $50 a day, but I didn't expect it to be all museums and cathedrals! It's hard to give this book any bad marks as it is well written, comprehensive and just what it says -- Europe at $50 a day. But I would expect it to be, well, more lively than it is. I'm waiting for Frommer to come out and tell me that if I go down this narrow street to this little cafe, I'll really see some local flavor. Or here is where the night clubs are -- or drive here to see -- well, anything but another museum
