Book Info

Babies are like busses. Emma and James have waited ages for one to turn up, then two come together. Not twins - but an adorable Russian tot called Yuri, and an as-yet-unnamed bump already wreaking it's special brand of havoc. Emma and James are overwhelmed by the crying, the crankiness, the fitful sleeping, the fussy feeding - and that's just the new mother . . . On top of that they are juggling the Queen of Interfering Mothers, the brother marrying An Unsuitable Bride, the combustible best friend with a broody husband, and the outrageous sister who'll do anything for fame and fortune. Emma and James are ecstatic at being parents at last but sometimes wish that it was all a bit less . . . frantic!

Not as great as the first two- but a nice conclusion to the trilogy *may contain spoilers*

I enjoyed this book. Not as much as the first two but enjoyed it nonetheless. The only thing i didn't like was the ending. Whilst what happened with the baby- i won't give it away- i felt was appropriate as it fit the whole idea of the road to parenthood being hard, i disliked the final page as i felt it didn't give enough material for what happened next. I would have liked to learn more about how Emma found life with two children or some nice, happy diologue. I felt quite sad when the book ended. I must say i did enjoy the triology and would recommend it, i'm just sad that's it!
