French Lovers: From Heloise and Abelard to Beauvoir and Sartre

I stumbled upon this book the first time in the library. I sat in the back of the library and read all day.For four two years now I have been trying to hunt this book down. Not only do they pleasure us with true romance but they dont mind telling those beautiful stories of same sex couples either. I was just in awe of the amazing group of people choosen to be the focus - they are some of the most talented forces who lived the reality of that fine dividing line between genious and insane. I felt somewhat honered to be invited into their private lives for a while.All in all it is one of those books that you feel the better for reading. And it is wonderful to read with your loved one.

I first read this book while still in high school. But I never forgot the stories, especially the one of Heloise and Abelard. They became so real to me that I then started one of the best educations of my life just looking out for anything I could find on these wonderful people and their loves. An excellent buy, I highly recommend if it can be found.
