I received this book from a friend when I went on my own in 1991. Since then I have recommended this book to so many friends, primarily for the section entitled, "Occupational Hazards to the Psyche". Knowing that all of the mental garbage you go through is almost part of a script empowers you, then she tells you how to cope. Please update this book, as most of the other stuff is no longer relevant in 2007. I still give it 5 stars for the one section mentioned above.
