Found Wanting

In Colorado, her mom arrives to see her vanished daughter Alaina Chancellor for the first time in nine years. Not long afterward, Alaina's former lover and now brother-in-law shows up and tries to rape her, but her mother intercedes. This is an exhilarating romantic suspense starring a wonderful female protagonist and a born again admirer of the courage of women. The story line is fast-paced and loaded with action especially as the brotherin-law's thugs do their assignment. Though how no one could see past his outer shell to the ambitious violent killer inside seems stretched even for a clever sociopath villain, fans of taut thrillers will want to read FOUND WANTING
