For Mike

This book, For Mike, is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. It is about a senior high schooler named Jeff, who's friend Mike disappears. Jeff wants to figure out what happened to him, and mysterious dreams he has pushes him further. The dreams are Mike telling Jeff to come get him, and help him. With the help of Jeff's friend Berry, they figure out the mystery. I really like this book because of all the suspence. It really kept me guessing. I read more in one sitting of this book than I had with any other book. It's definitely a crowd pleaser!

I usually find books boring and rarely ever read, but when I found this book, i couldn't stop reading it! The ending is so shocking and it keeps you guessing throughout the book.

I occasionally read my daughter's young adult fiction books and quite often find them boring. This book by Shelley Sykes was excellent - I didn't expect to be so captivated by the story line that I would stay up late into the night to find out what would happen next. I can't wait for the next book (and neither can my daughter, by the way!)

For Mike isn't just for teens, it's for all ages. The intriguing story of a best friend who dissappears and everyone's involvement pulls you along at break neak speed to an ending that leaves you enthralled and sad at the same time. I highly recommend for readers of all ages.
