A wonderful summer read for the front porch! The plot is intricately woven and the characters are so believable. You will love Sophy and Ives, hate Edward and the other villians and be aware of how far we have come in women's rights. It is wonderfully romantic! I can hardly wait to read other books by Shirlee Busbee
