I wish I had found this book four years ago, when my Deaf grandchildren were born. VERY informative, and extremely well written. A very important work!

This is a very informative book on the Deaf Culture from a Deaf person's point of view. It is required for my American Sign Language classes, but it is very useful.

This book, a collection of 60 essays from "Deaf Life" magazine, contains a thoughtful, and sometimes humorous, look at Deaf Culture, and the hearing worlds misconception of it.
