Family Travel Reference South South Atlantic Specialty Travel Travel Washington, D.C.We used this more than the Fodor's Washington DC guide and the Eyewitness Guide. The prices, times, where to eat and Metro stops were easy to find and read. The tips about the best times to get to a specific site and when to buy tickets were great. Our kids are 11 and 8 and the suggestions about what might be interesting to them were spot on. I'd recommend this book to anyone going to DC with kids.

My family and I recently took a trip to DC, and brought along this book. It had lots of great tips on what to see and where to eat. We've used the "Boston" version of the book for years, and I was glad to see that the "DC" version was just as helpful.

I purchased this for my Mother when she moved to the D.C. area so she'd have ideas of where to take the grandkids. Everytime we're there I see it out on a counter or on the nightstand. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins have all used to it while visiting. It's a great gift and a great reference. We've definitely gotten our money's worth!

I think this book is a great gift alternative. My mother-in-law saw the book and wanted a copy to have at her house for out of town visitors.
