Fly Away Home

This is a beautiful children's book. The illustrations are very colorful and the pop ups are brillant! My 3 year old has had this book for a year now and she is rough on books - but the pop ups are still popping up beautifully. The story is about a ladybug "Ladybird" - who hears a child saying the poem Ladybird, Ladybird fly away home, your house is on fire, your children are flown. The ladybug gasps and faints to hear such news. From that point on all of the other bugs in the garden work together to get the unconscious ladybug back to her home. Each page has a colorful popup and some have a pull tab to move the popup. My daughter loves to pull the tab which makes the spider lift the ladybug up to her home. Very sweet story.
