This is a Suspense/Mystery, and this is the 27th book in the Andy Carpenter series. I have read all the other books in this series before picking up this book, but I do think you can read this book as a standalone without any problems. This book is all about a movie star that Andy dated in school being arrested for the murder which causes her to need Andy as her lawyer. I enjoyed this case unfolding, but I wish some of the secondary characters and the dogs were in this book more. This book had me guessing and trying to figure out what was going on, and I did not guess the reveal before it was revealed. This was another fun read. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
