Flames of Passion

This book was the first romance novel I have read, back about 15 years ago, and I have never found one I liked more. Although the main character Trent LeBlanc, makes many moral mistakes, ruled by his passion, desires, and an alcohol-clouded mind - his heart, soul, & motives, are pure. Amber is a very strong character, a survivor, & Trent's perfect match. Although, it takes awhile for each of them to realize it. I absolutley loved the history. It is set upon the high seas, a pirate story, with excellent descriptions of life as a sailor, and sea travel to ports all over the world. This book was printed in 1982 & no longer in print, but 15 years & thousands of books & authors later, it is still my favorite.
