Five Silly Monkeys

I had this book before (got it as a gift)and I bought it in honor of my daughter's b-day for her classroom. The children really love being able to see and feel the plastic monkey heads-and see how one at a time they dissappear.Great Gift!

I have daycare in my home and the little ones just LOVE this book! The puppet glove is a cute addition, too, although they don't seem to care whether we use it or not! They sing the song long after the book is put away and ask for it again and again.

My son is 8 months old and he LOVES this book. We started reading it to him when he was 4 months old. He smiles and giggles at every page every time we read it. I sortof sing the words to him. Starting at 7 months old, we started giving him choices between two books to read at each reading. If the silly monkeys is in the mix, he always grabs that one. He gets so excited that we can't give him this option at bedtime! We don't really use the hand puppet. We played with it a little when he was 1-3 months old and he just stared at it. The book, though, gives him belly laughs which puts a smile on my face!

Good Book - I think we already lost the hand puppet - but the book is great without it. Monkey faces in the book are 3-D, so that is fun as well.

My 10 month old son LOVES this book. We read it over and over again. He loves touching all the silly monkeys. We count them on every page. All I have to do is start reciting the book and his eyes light up.
