First Words In English: Book 1 (Linmore's Basic ESL Series)

This is an excellent level one textbook. She has a lot of clever and unique methods of presenting her material which are very effective in level zero and level one classes. The author has obviously spent years teaching ESL and testing her material, and it shows. It's a great book. I use it with three other books she has written, "Pre-reading Resource Book", "Starting to Read", and "Personal Stories, book one", as well as, Steven Molinsky and Bill Bliss's books "Foundations" and "Access". Linda Mrowicki's books are published by Linmore Publishing. Steven Molinsky's books are published by Prentice Hall.
