An intriguing study.

Miller explores differences between expectations and socialization between children attending day care who hail from poverty (barely getting by/helped along by Social Services), middle class (teachers, janitors, salesmen, factory workers, etc.), upper class (doctors, lawyers, etc.), and ultra class (millionaires) homes. After reading this qualitative study, you will see that expectations when children grow into adults and the necessary skills that will facilitate such a transition emerge as the main reasons why all children do not succeed in day care. It's a superb read.
