Fires of Time

Just wanted to say that Mr Barry S. Wilson is not the author of this book. It was written by my good friend Barry J. Wilson. So, "S", please don't take credit where it isn't due.

Fires Of Time is a thrilling new adventure told through the eyes of a veteran firefighter/paramedic. The real life experiences of author Barry Wilson permeates the senses through the descriptive language in this novel. Aside from the hero having just a touch of "Superman syndrome", the action is so real that you can smell the smoke and feel the radiant heat. The reader is propelled from one chapter to the next, until the last page is turned. Outstanding reading, especially considering this is Wilson's first novel. I can hardly wait for the sequel!

Kind of strange reading about a firefighter going back in time to experince the big fires that have happened. But it kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. It has a few sad moments, and a few happy ones, and a couple of great friendships that spanned 90 years. Barry Wilson did a great job of melding past and present.
