Reads like a tabloid gossip magazine

Michael Wolff adds nothing to the conversation that we already don't know. The White House chaos, the Bannonites are against the non-Bannonites, no-one is able to control Trump. What Fire and Fury does tell us though, is how the key power-brokers interact with each other on a day-by-day basis. This book uncovers the alliances, leakings, and back-stabbings happening behind the scenes that we see every day. We hear stories of what Jarvanka and Bannon leak to the press. That leads one to question, who is leaking to Michael Wolff about these claims? Who is going to benefit most from this book's release? Wolff's stories are heavily influenced by Bannon's point-of-view. We hear nothing about Pence or Reibus, and we only hear negative things for the Jarvanka side. Even the epilogue mentions how Bannon is to gain from today's chaos. Why I chose this to be a 3/5 instead of a 4/5 was due to Wolff's writing style. Have you ever had a friend that reads a dictionary a lot and tries to sprinkle complex terms in their writing? Yeah, Wolff writes like that. There were times I had to pull out Google to translate words Wolff sprinkled in. (Seriously, what is a joie de guerre? Googling that term only leads you back to this book. If anyone finds the answer, please let me know!) But I digress. Wolff's chapters and thoughts seemed unorganized at best. I found myself asking many times what the chapter's content had to do with its title. One problem I had with Wolff's writing style was that he often lacked sources for his claims. I understand that he had to protect the sources of his claims. Yet that hurts Wolff's credibility instead of helping. Read this book like a tabloid gossip magazine. If you read this book for a cause of a deeper review, you will be disappointed. Wolff does give us insight into the Trump administration. But without credible, cited sources, you cannot take the claims with more than a grain of salt.

Fire and Fury in Trump

This is a detail book inside Trump chaotic White House. Is it a fortune to elect this old guy to the highest office with the climax of incendiary call for action on January 6 2021 to a "patriotic" assault on Congress to certify the electoral votes in his favor. Who is in self deception of the winning is "stolen" and Made America Great in Covid19 deaths? This book may be a chart against what Trump did in his "The Greatest One Term in American History"!

Extremely Biased

I lean left of center and even for me this book was written in a way that was difficult to read due to how biased it was against Trump and the rest of the WH. I was hoping for something a little more balanced and fair.

Eye-opener

This author was at times very dark but could be almost light and humorous describing a chaotic presidency. It almost seems too unreal to believe, but it fits the narrative so closely to what we all suspected all along as spectators from the outside.

Wonderful

Wonderful, truthful book. Very interesting read. I highly recommend it.
