I have been reading this book to my daughter since she was 6 months old. She has learned many rhymes from this book and loves to read it even today when she is 20 month old. It has a great collection of rhymes and you can keep reading more as they grow. It has nice illustrations and a very soft clear look.
Perfect for toddlers

Great way to learn songs

I have to say that my daughter (20 months) won't sit with this book and do all the fingerplays while she is on my lap. BUT this book has easy to follow songs that are familiar and some not as common. Basically I found that this book is more for a parent to learn,than a book to sit with your child.
